Bob Cahill Award
The Scout who receives the Bob Cahill
Award will be chosen for living the Scout Oath and the Scout Law in their
daily lives. The winner will be chosen by the adult leaders of the Troop
from eligible Scouts.
To be eligible Scouts must
A) Be up to date with dues and
commitment
B) Have worn the uniform proudly
displaying their Scouting achievements
C) Have fulfilled at least four
of the following
1) Have earned
at least two of the following MB's
a) Cooking
b) Backpacking
c) Hiking
d) Camping
2) Completed
Jr. Leader Training
3) Served as
a Junior Leader
4) Have been
tent camping at least 5 nights in the past Scout year.
5) Participate
actively in fundraisers
6) Participate
in an Environmental Service Project
7) Hiked the
Appalachian Trail for at least 10 miles
